Herald and Southern News out today

Cairns Community newspapers, publishers of the Northern News and the Southern Herald, have hit the streets this weekend.
Editor Corina Angel-Dzubiel says they are pleased to provide a comprehensive election guide. "Our readers will appreciate that they can clearly see who is running in their area."
The local council election features predominately in the two editions, that are published simultaneously across the city's northern and southern suburbs.
A full question and answer from the majority of election candidates, appears on their website.
The community newspapers have a readership of over 80,000. 32,000 copies are distributed from Edge Hill to Palm Cove, and Earlville to Gordonvale.

Shouldn't you be declaring your interest in these papers, as part of their "editorial team?"

Dammm.. been caught out on conflict of interest!!

Yes, I am delighted to announce, what is already printed in the Northern News and the Southern Herald, that I am indeed an under-paid writer that contributes to these wonderful community newspapers. They are the only truly independent newspapers in our region.

I will always gladly prostitute myself to any cause that will support a different opinion than is allowed in the so-called mainstream media.

Long live the Independent voice!
