Police are treating the death of a woman overnight at Manoora as suspicious.
Officers responded to an emergency call just before 4am this morning, to Maytown Close, Manoora.
A 24-year-old woman was found with with wounds and attempts to revive her, were unsuccessful and. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives from Cairns CIB are investigating the death, and this afternoon are interviewing a 24-year-old man.
