Councillor Rob Pyne has just twittered that Cairns Regional Council announced the end of the stinger season.
Now where do we look for the nasty stinging things Rob? Somewhere in Spence Street perchance?
Scientists at James Cook University confirmed that it is safe to remove stinger nets as follows:-
Thursday 21 May Port Douglas Four Mile Beach
Friday 22 May Trinity, Ellis, Kewarra, Clifton, Palm Cove, Yorkeys Knob, Holloways
Tuesday 26 May Bramston Beach
