There's a few ding bats at the Cairns Post

What the.... is this?
  • Tickets are on sale at Ticketek on 132 849, at www.ticketek.com.au or at the Customer Care Desk, Stockland.
They're commonly known as "zapf dingbats", "wing dings" or even "ding bats" - a font you'll often find at the bottom of the selection when looking for the type of your choice. These are handy when trying to be creative, spontaneous or just not wanting to appear boring.

Ding Bats also provide an endless variety of handy icons like a Y, a i, or a large round n.

Today some 'ding bats' infiltrated a Cairns Post story about tennis star Lleyton Hewitt visiting Cairns.

And what was it meant to read? Sadly it wasn't a secret code for where the chocolate biscuits are hidden in the Post's staff cafeteria...

How is that news worthy? Newsltd wouldn't even cover a story as mundane as that
