The Hewitt Factor

Staff at the Reef Casino hotel in Cairns, where tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt is lodging whilst in town for the David Cup challenge, have been dished out strict instructions on how to interact with the tennis star and prima donna.

Hotel staff have been told under strict instructions, when passing Mr Hewitt around the hotel, not to engage with him in any way, "unless spoken to first."

Seems like Lleyton needs some lov'in off the court as well.

"Don't engage with him in any way"? That's the instruction council staff have about YOU, Mr. Moore.

Well think about it for a second, how many times do people interact with you such as "Good morning, how are you etc". Just little pleasantries.

Now imagine you are someone everyone recognises. You would be inundated and it gets tiring to reply to everyone all the time.

So far from being superior, I think he's just saving his sanity.

This is different from interacting with fans. It's part of your job but to live with it EVERY DAY must be hard work.

Still think it's a knob though.

He is a dead set knob for sure... a very rude little boy indeed. Does he not got to the toilet just like the rest of us.... And he is a little full of himself, you do know he pays for his 'fan club' to follow him around the world, haha, yes he pays people to cheer for him.
