Today's great pic in the Post by Chris Hyde is simply screaming out for a caption from the loyal CairnsBlog readers.
Here's Cairns MP Desley Boyle, spending time in Lotus Glen prison "to see what it's like". It's all part of a deal for MPs to experience what its like for us ordinary folk. Needless to say, let's ponder what was said...- "Okay, the Yacht Club, assets sales, and Bryan Law... what else am I responsible for?"
- "Ms Boyle, I'd like to introduce you to your new room mates, Bea, Lizzie and Doreen."
- "Wow, we're getting a lot of you folk here lately. This one over here is reserved for a A. Bligh early next year."
- "Now, make sure you never drop the soap, however it's not all bad here. You won't have that Langbroek character around."
- ....your turn....

Now they tell me ......."Thou shalt not kill"
Hello, is Tim Grau here? You know, the consultant with the social conscience and the swiss bank account. we were supposed to discuss the succession.
Fooled them they thought I was a female.
Where is the soap!
" Can I stay permanently here, as the winds of change outside of these walls are blowing a gale. And what is more, not only do I look like a plunderer, which I am, but I being an imposter I detest"
It's dark, dirty, lonely, not many people like me in here, might get some heavy girl-on-girl action... what's the difference to being in the Queensland Labor Party?
Hey Gurugirl.. the answer is... "It does, doesn't it?!"
(get it? Your question was 'where's the soap.. or ... wears the soap,....)
Never mind, I had a laugh
Breakfast Jam ...
I went to the zoo the other day and saw a sign.
It read, "Beware - the Lama spits"
And I was ...
"Anna never mentioned the mandatory strip search when she suggested in come here for my work experience"
I can't even summon a joke response. All I thought was: Desley has been a Qld MP for HOW LONG, & only this week she's visited Lotus Glen?
Yeah, engagement is a Big Word, Des.
Damn!! It wasnt enough to stop the Earlville Public housing project.....I should have stopped Palm Cove and Bluewater too!!
Hard to know who is happy to see Desley or not.
From left to right, I thought it may be like this:
Guard No 1: Wow! Another one, soon we'll have all of them!
Guard No 2: I hope I don't have to strip search that!
Guard No 3: That blank look might work in politic-land, but it won't help you in here girlie!
Desley: I can't see Gordon anywhere, and somebody also just touched my butt!!!
Now where's Warren?
