Spotted in Lake Street today

I was gob-smacked when a CairnsBlog reader emailed these photos late this evening.

She spotted these signs adorning a car packed in Lake Street, near the Cairns Library. She didn't spot the driver, but snapped them with her camera phone!

Obviously the driver is a reader of this blog, so why not drop me a line and introduce yourself?

It's not you Dennis, is it? I know it's not Cr Freebody, as the car was in the Library area.

Perhaps, more of us should do the same in the lead up to the election to get it out there just how much damage this Council has done to our environment, reduced our livability in terms of loss of privacy, open space, heritage and visual amenity.

Good on ya!

Michael, as a fund raiser for your fighting fund why not get some bumperstickers made up and sell them to us bloggers???

Perhaps the owner of the car could park it legally outside the unity's team new office in Spence street for a few days and see what sort of reaction they get.

I will buy a bumpersticker and put it on the car.

A letterbox drop would also be a cheap and effective way of getting a large proportion of people to check out the site. I tell you what Mike, if KB is kicked out, I'm bringing you a carton.
