They've taken over a year to put up our new Council sign, and it's still not done! A couple of weeks ago, the old name finally came down, presumably awaiting for the new one to be installed.
Here's you chance... let's tell these folk what we'd like to go up on the Spence Street sign...

Not being a Cairns resident I thought when you first posted this pic that it was a photoshop job - but you're saying it's for real? What a temptation! A blank canvas for an aspiring graffiti artist.
By the time CRC have gone guarantor for the taipans, propped up the cairns toursm industry, and paid out $26,000 to John McKenzie for nothing, there is simply no money left in the kitty for fancy bling signs.
