Mobiles banned in NZ vehicles

New Zealand's Dominion Post reports that the Government has proposed a law change to ban hand-held mobile phone to be used in cars.

I'm for this one. Whilst men can multi-task better than women, unless you have a hand-held car kit or one of those $10 hands-free ear pieces, it always amazes me how many dickheads I see all over the Captain Cook Highway trying to negotiate changing lanes and ordering their lunch at the same time.

But, as for SMSing... nah, I'm only joking!

Furthermore, I hope that the Queensland or Federal government would also ban the use of fog lights. It's simply not necessary and completely dangerous, with a set of four lights in your rear view mirror.
