I offer my condolences and thoughts to Val Schier, following her mother Jean's passing yesterday afternoon.
She passed away peacefully at home in Falmouth, Tasmania at 3.15 pm Tuesday afternoon.
Val recently spent 3 weeks with her in order to assist as she required more help at home. I know she will now value that precious time she shared with her mum.
This passing resonates strongly with me, as I'm currently offering support and help to my ageing mother, and arranging home care help for duties she is now less able to undertake.
My thoughts are with Val and the family at this time of loss and a significant person in her life.
