What's in a word

My friend Nicky spotted this beauty at the Cairns Spotlight store today.

"Amazing the things you find in Spotlight, but how can this magical device stop a drought?" Nicky asked.

Oops!! The curse of the pedantic.......sometimes it comes back to bite you! Still, some 'can' and some can 'not' but either way it's a pretty funny picture.

Maybe we could have one issued to each South East Queenslander? Maybe if you see someone wasting water your suppose to whack them with it?

Draught Stopper. Lay it at the bottom of a door. But you knew that.

Or perhaps you are supposed to lay them on top of each other, brick style, to form a dam. If you are particularly crafty, you could sew them together for extra strength and please, do not forget to choose the correct colours to compliment your home. The beautification possibilities are endless, add a sequin or two, maybe embroider some flowers on them. If you are going for the full classy effect.....get out your bedazzler and experiment with that!

Depends on what kind of drought you are referring to, and how clever you can be with your anatomy perhaps?
