What a pathetic hit piece.

Like the BBC's sad 'Conspiracy Files', one episode of which was featured on 4-Corners last week, this isn't journalism at all.

It's just P.R. - an attempt to shepherd public opinion and damp down rising concern that 9/11 was indeed some manner of inside job and that we have indeed been led into new wars and loss of civil liberties on wholly false pretenses. (Of course, no-one in their right mind ever suggested Dubya was capable of orchestrating 9-11 - any more than you'd expect a dog to co-ordinate a duck-shoot).

As for the broad-daylight murder of JFK, the United States House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) in 1979 concluded: "The committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy."

Those who sneer at 'conspiracy theories" over the JFK assassination never explain why they snigger at the very conclusion reached by that rather conservative group or politicians 20 years ago. But hey - why engage in rational discussion when a snigger will suffice?

The technique of grouping together stories and rumours of all types (this article has an assortment of ten) so they can all be tarred with the same brush is also a standard disinfo technique.

In years to come, I imagine our descendents will look at material such as this and groan.

They will ask the same question we ask today in relation to the witchcraft scares of of the late middle ages: how could those people be so silly?

They call it poisoning the well. Take areas of legitimate concern, such as Israeli involvement in 911 as documented by the arrest of the "5 dancing Israelis" in New York on the day of the attacks, and bundling it in with Elvis sightings, crop circles etc. to discredit the lot together.

Syd Walker said...

Exactly right Paul. 100% spot on.

Sometimes - as in the case of this article - poisoning the well is done between topics (e.g. mixing 9-11 with Elvis sightings)

Other times it's done within a topic.

Hence crazy alternative theories and erroneous information are put out about 9-11 and the London bombings - throwing up distractions and detracting from the efforts of the folk genuinely trying to establish the truth, folk who've become aware that the official stories don't stack up and the authorities and mass media don't/won't investigate them properly. If you can't spend a lot of time on this arcane stuff, sorting out wheat from chaff can be very tricky indeed.

I participated in a JFK-assassination internet forum for a few years and concluded eventually (no proof, of course) that between a third and a half of the active participants were some manner of trolling spook.

The taxes of westerners at work, I guess?

In Australia, the last Federal Attorney General who took on ASIO and tried to bring it under serious political control was Lionel Murphy, who even ordered a raid on ASIO HQ. His subsequent demise in a tawdry scandal was probably a pointed message to any of his successors who might have similar ideas.

Check out an artist's impression of ASIO's future HQ in Canberra - our cryptocracy's enduring material contribution to Australia's 'stimulus package' aka burgeoning national debt. I presume they've designed the building to be raid-proof, just in case any pesky politician plucks up the courage to take them on again...

I'd suggest armed insurrection might dislodge these parasitic ticks from their grip, but unfortunately even airing such a reprehensible suggestion is probably illegal under one or other of the 40+ pieces of 'anti-Terrorism' legislation introduced during the Howard era to keep (them) safe from an outraged citizenry.

So I guess it's just down to grumbling in blogs and hoping a critical mass of ordinary people eventually wake up to the reality that we have been told massive lies by our governments about events such as (a) Port Arthur (b) 9-11 (c) the 7/7 London bombings.

This is really a modern form of mass human blood sacrifice, using ordinary civilians as props in a game of deception designed to con the public into thinking that giving spooks even more power will make us safer.

The truth is the exact opposite. Whoever controls these spooks is clearly as corrupt as the manipulators who control Hollywood and the flagships of the western mass media. Actually, they all play on the same team.

And yes, I'm sorry to say that in my personal opinion, their team logo has six points.

That's how it comes about that, in a world agog with concern about nuclear proliferation, a shitty apartheid little state is able to amass an armory of hundreds of nuclear weapons, while the western mass media barely reports this (never as a matter of grave concern) and none of our so-called national 'leaders' say a thing.

At last the scales have fallen from my eyes! Following his role in the Zionist conspiracy bombings of 9/11 and 7/7, arch nemesis Rupert Murdoch reported to Area 51 for genetic re-assignment, where he was transmuted into Syd Walker and ordered to live under deep cover by pretending to be a harmless loon. From deep in a CIA sponsored cloud of crypto smoke “Syd” now controls the CIA, NSA, MI6 and ASIO budgets for misinformation campaigns and world control – a key element of which is to direct otherwise useful citizens into thinking that “grumbling on blogs” will achieve justice. After a hard day’s mind-control “Syd” goes home to his ménage et quatro with JFK, Elvis and Princess Di. Peanut butter sanger anyone?

Syd Walker said...

If that's your best shot at humour Bryan, stick to straight egotism.

Why someone who purports to care as much about peace and freedom as you do should troll for the dark side is beyond me.

Why don't you stop sneering - just for once? Why not listen and watch, read a little, think - then explain who you think might have put nanothermitic material in the WTC, before three huge skyscrapers dropped to the ground at near free fall velocity on Sept 11th 2001?

Do you recall that 9-11 was the the stated rationale for the invasion of Afghanistan by US troops (+ tag-alongs such as Australia) in late 2001?

Do you really care about stopping this appalling war?

Or do you just like getting your face in the media from time to time, the jolly fool of Cairns who can safely be ignored?

Paul said...

I had assumed you were a bit more intelligent than that Brian.

Bryan Law said...

Did anyone else notice that “Syd’s” response contained 145 words, broken down into 645 characters and 150 spaces? These are in the exact same proportions to the number of bathrooms, toilet stalls, and hand dryers found in Jewish owned buildings within 150 metres of the WTC site on 9/11!

If that’s not evidence of a vast Zionist conspiracy I don’t know what is.

I know there are sceptics out there who say that militarism, war, and the arms trade can be explained and countered using rational analysis and planned political action but, really, poo on all of you. Where’s the fun in that, and how does it justify “grumbling on blogs”.

Ps nanothermite, even called a metastable intermolecular composite, smells just as sweet.

Syd Walker said...

I gave up that assumption a while back, Paul. Even so, I thought it might be worth one more go.

After all, Bryan is so stubborn that when the penny finally drops in his dim head that comments like the one he just made are not 'rational analysis ' by any stretch of the imagination - and that he's been duped all along into taking the side of the likes of Dick Cheney against folk like Cynthia McKinney - he'll be an asset. In fact, he'll probably never shut up about '9-11 truth'.

Nevertheless, at this point I shall take the advice of comedian Greg King:

"Don’t argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

Bryan and Syd, you both have fine intellects so no need to spray personal abuse at each other. A truce could be considered!

Now, Syd I heard you on Fiona's morning programme on the ABC the other morning and I was intrigued once I heard your rational about the Poland / Germany conflict.

Why don't you do a piece on the Blog about what you expressed to Fiona?

Syd Walker said...

Would the coward who goes by the moniker 'american warships are welcome in cairns' please identify him/herself if he/she intends to make more offensive, untrue and highly defamatory slurs against me.

I am not, nor ever have been, a 'Jew-hater'. This is abundantly clear to anyone who reads my material with care. I publish under my own name.

I am disappointed, Michael, that you allowed that latest comment to be published.

It's not acceptable for people make false and damaging assertions about another person's values and beliefs under the cloak of anonymity.

Wow Bryan, now you have me scared! In my building the ratio of the land area to volume of the swimming pool to the number of doorknobs squared is exactly in those same proportions. Should I be worried about this as I live under a flight path? Although given the size of the building no nano-thermites should be required for complete destruction by a fair sized plane so we can claim the insurance money!

@ Maxiumus the 3rd

I also regret the breakdown of my relationship with Bryan, whom I've known for many years.

For me, it began when Bryan wrote an article in CairnsBlog 'calling me out' (his term). After I put some effort into replying, he didn't even bother to reply, let alone engage in debate.

The final straw was when Bryan subsequently used the vile same term that the anonymous coward 'american bases are welcome in Cairns' just used to describe my views. That is beyond strong language and robust debate.

As I choose to write under my own name, I have a name to defend. I stand by what I write - and I'm prepared to stand by it, with the proviso that if I make mistakes, I try to correct them.

I don't purport to be anything other than someone who cares about the truth. I have no pecuniary interest in this; it's the reverse. By writing what I do on the topics I discuss, I effectively exclude myself from opportunities for employment as a writer in this society at present.

I can cope with being called a 'nutter', 'space-case' and other silly terms of abuse by people who choose to misuse their intelligence.

But if I'm called a 'hater' - something distasteful to a lifelong supporter of the peace movement - I don't think it's unfair to demand evidence and/or a retraction.

Bryan has been unable or unwilling to furnish either. That, to my way of thinking, puts him just one rung up on the chain of being from anonymous trolls like 'american warships are welcome in cairns'.

Perhaps I'll rename Bryan 'american warships aren't welcome in cairns' - so the similarities as well as the distinction between the two are made clear.

I will, however, take this opportunity to restore the link I intended to provide earlier. Somehow it dropped out of a previous comment when it was posted. So here it is - Part One of a 12-part video series on YouTube, for the next rainy day in FNQ. Dr Steven Jones appears in the second episode. Follow the links to see the whole show. It's best viewed in sequence, of course. Segments are all quite short.

If Bryan - or anyone else - has serious criticisms of this content, I am willing to give him one more chance and discuss them.

I am, however, mindful of advice attributed to Mark Twain: Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference

I may write something about the origin of World War Two on my blog, maximums. Mike is always welcome to republish my stuff.

Suffice it to say that, in my opinion, the officially-sanctioned mythology of the outbreak of WW2 is about as accurate as the officially-sanctioned mythology of the outbreak of more recent wars of aggression by 'western' powers, such as the assaults on Iraq and Afghanistan.

If saving Poland was Britain's reason for declaring war in 1939, why didn't Britain also declare war on the USSR when the latter invaded eastern Poland shortly afterwards? Why, in 1940, did Hitler allow over a quarter million British troops at Dunkirk, to escape to safety back to Britain? (Germany had bombers and he must have known what they could do to a stranded concentration of enemy troops). Oh, and if the story of WW2 is as simple and uncontroversial and the ABC/Murdoch view of the world would have us believe, why are some crucial archival materials yet to be released to the public - more than 60 years later? Whose history is it?

Why not call Fiona Sewell and ask her? She presents as an expert on the history of the period. I did my best to make a few points in the minute or so provided to me to present a contrary view.

@ Nick. Can we please discuss the nuances of Ted Kennedy's behaviour and your curious theory that Al Qaida runs the US Government on another occasion?

1
You just have to feel sorry for the folk who run the Jewish Agency and Israeli Prime Minister’s office.

Tasked with defending the world’s most unpopular nation – a State surrounded by aggrieved and exasperated neighbours, that is despised worldwide for its callous brutality over more than 60 years

2
One of the greatest achievements of Israeli/Zionist PR over in recent decades has been persuading a majority of ‘left-wing’, ‘progressive’ westerners that Israel shares their values.

"Syd" you claim to want to be taken seriously, yet you continue to promote useless conspiracy theories that shed no light on the dynamics of military adventurism, and are indeed a giant distraction from the issues that citizens need address to end war.

The declared wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the undeclared war against the Pashtun people of Pakistan all proceed with the complicity of the Australian state - about which you do nothing, and for which you offer no solution.

I broke with you when you applied the same kind of bullshit analysis to the Wild Rivers legislation ie ignore the political realities to promote piffle and nonsense.

I observed then that irrespective of facts, reality, and rational analysis your writings end up providing support for the ALP under any circumstances.

During the Queensland election you mobilised support for Steve Whatsisname as member for Barron River because, according to you, he stood up for land rights at Mona Mona. You pooh poohed the far more consistant efforts of the LNP to do the same, and now you support the imposition of yet more legislative constriction on Bama.

Since the election Whatsisname has resiled from his "assistance" to Mona Mona, and his government have flogged off every public asset they can for sweet fuck-all. Write about that, or about something else that's real.

Continue with this "Zionist conspiracy" bullshit and I'll call you on it every time. It get's in the way, just like Rupert.

Thank you Syd for those brief comments on World War 2. I hope you get a chance to write more on your Blog.

It saddens me that contributors need to become personal in their response. I know you personally, fleetingly at most but I was able to assess in that short time that you are sincere, honest and decorous.

Try as difficult as it is, not to take the comments too personally.

I look forward to reading your contributions!

Syd Walker said...

So that's your 'case', whoever you are? What a case!

I'll clarify, as nuance clearly escapes you.

I don't like hating individuals - or groups of people. I try not to feel any hate to people. I believe a wise person, which I aspire - but don't claim - to be, rises above hatred in that sense.

But I haven't abandoned the word entirely. For example, I 'hate' stubbing my toe. I also hate war, stupidity and cruelty. I hate deliberate misrepresentation. I hate lazy, conformist, slovenly thinking. I hate supremacist, separatist ideologies such as Zionism.

I may hate militarism - but that doesn't mean i hate everyone in the army and Department of Defense. I may loathe Zionism - but not every individual Zionist or even Zionists as a category.

I'm sure most people can appreciate the distinction. If it's too hard for you... well, you'll be pleased to know I don't go into Cairns often anyway. I'm easy to avoid.

Now I think I'll get back to conversing with sentient beings such as my dog. Have a nice day.

"saving Poland was Britain's reason for declaring war in 1939"

It wasn't, but they had committed themselves to draw a line in the sand after 2 years of dithering. They didn't give a stuff about Poland.

" Can we please discuss the nuances of Ted Kennedy's behaviour and your curious theory that Al Qaida runs the US Government on another occasion?"

Of course we can.

And I think we should all be allowed to have curious theories...

@ Nick

Your understanding of the period would be very useful on the local ABC. It would certainly round out their analysis a little.

On the morning in question, Fiona played a few archive audio tapes of the war declaration. If I recall correctly, this is what she played by Neville Chamberlain:

"I am speaking to you from the Cabinet Room at 10, Downing Street.

This morning the British Ambassador in Berlin handed the German Government a final note stating that unless we heard from them by 11.00 a.m. that they were prepared at once to withdraw their troops from Poland, a state of war would exist between us.

I have to tell you that no such undertaking has been received, and that consequently this country is at war with Germany.

And this is what she played of Menzies:

"Fellow Australians,

It is my melancholy duty to inform you officially that in consequence of a persistence by Germany in her invasion of Poland, Great Britain has declared war upon her and that, as a result, Australia is also at war.

No harder task can fall to the lot of a democratic leader than to make such an announcement.

So there we have it. Britain declared war against Germany because of Poland.

In Australia's case, it was about 'follow-my-leader-to-the-gates-of-hell-no-questions-asked'. (As far as I can see, it still is.)

Incidentally, Australia's leaping into war in 1939 is often seen as a case of relexive support for Britain - and there's a case to be made for that. But Australia didn't always march lockstep with Britain.

One notable (but rarely mentioned) exception was the international debate over recognition of Israel after it unilaterally declared independence in 1948.

Under the principled leadership of Britain's Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin, Britain tried hard to prevent international recognition of an Israeli State so disproportionately large in relation to the size of the Jewish population in Palestine. It was less than half of the total, yet even though the UN partition plan advocated a generous 55& of Palestine to the Jewish State, in the event the terror gangs snatched 78%. (That's how places like Gaza came to be so densely populated in the first place. They are teeming with Palestinin refugees whose parents and grandparents came from elsewhere in Palestine, but were driven off their land.)

Yet when, in 1948, the lead nation of the British Empire sought justice for Palestinians, it was deserted by every 'Dominion' that had so slavishly followed Britain into war in 1939. Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand - all fell into line behind the Zionists, against the wishes of the British Government of the day. All hastily recognized the new Israeli State with its bloated borders seized by force.

Funny that, don't you think?

@ Maxminus the 3rd. Thanks for your comments. I do intend to write more on this subject on my blog. Incidentally, you may be interested in George Orwell's diary, published online 70 years late in installments.

Orwell's War is just beginning... He's even on Twitter.

All this talk of past conspiracies is wasted. What are the new conspiracies we face?

Here in Cairns we are all so stupid we have ignored the obvious. Kitchenslut has posted previously on the Pakistani background of Capital Globe the developer associated with ex mayor KB! They also conspire to privide the most fattening pizza in Cairns!

Pakistani names? Yes! But thats equally likely to mean its Jewish!

All the more probable because the Cairns head honcho is one KB who is an ex Vietnam vet with time in Russia and PNG who would obviously probably have CIA connections. And this is confirmed because when I raised this nocturnal congress hypotheticated CIA connections!

So here we are! We have here a man with military connections running an opaque operation out of Pakistan including investments via private Swiss Bank accounts building a non-compliant building above height limits in a flight path and .......

We cant see this conspiracy?

I just cant wait to reveal that not a single Jew will buy in that building!

Bryan Law said...

I think you're onto something here KS! The absence of Jews is a particularly telling piece of Zionist conspiracy practice. (Although close examination of KB's nose might be required before we can be absolutely certain.

Nick, Paul, Slut

Your true racist characters have come to the fore. You are reducing the Cairns blog to a haven and cover for your bretherin of bigots. You attempt to secretely asertain like minded souls in order to perpetuate your group. You need your group to help perpetuate yourself along the dole que and keep the status quo. If you can't lift yourself up, you can put another man down, just to make yourself feel a little better.

Throughout history groups like yours have formed, like the "poor white trash " in America competed with ex slaves in the South for jobs. They formed the KKK for similar purposes that you for your group. But... as history shows that you will eventually become embarrased about your current position...and so will the Cairns Blog.

Anyway there is another, apparently now defunct web site, where you can let loose with your conspiracy theories, if that's what you are on about.
