Green with envy

Political spin is in full swing across the ditch in New Zealand (it's a small island off the East coast), as Kiwis, of which I'm one, go to the polls in less than two weeks.

Incumbent Prime Minister Helen Clark, is struggling to hold the reins for a forth term, to become New Zealand's second longest serving Prime Minister. However, her main rival, the National Party, lead by relatively new-comer John Key, shows that the two major parties are still neck and neck.

Even the minor parties are getting lots of traction. Unlike the Queensland Greens, their New Zealand counterparts have a mainstream-focused campaign. Here's their opening TV statement, which every party enjoys. Enjoy the basic accents.
