Port Douglas, home of the perve

The ABC reports a 70-year-old Port Douglas pensioner, is the first person in Australia to be convicted for sending child porn via his mobile phone.

Kenneth Lang was arrested in Cairns back in 2006. The ABC says he sent seven explicit images of young children to a mate in Australia, while he was on holiday in.. wait for it, Thailand. Are you surprised?

He got 12 months jail, but that suspended, as he'd already served time in custody.  It was noted that he had three sex offences in Victoria. He will also make it into that esteemed publication: The national database of sex offenders.

How do these guys get off? (you know what I mean).  The Cairns Post has an update of the story.
