Yesterday I had an electrical surge, the power supply unit in my computer exploded, and not in a nice way. Like an old Aunt, it smelt kind of funny.
The incident tripped the safety switch and even the cat jumped out of his self-induced coma.
The surge subsequently damaged my graphics card that powers the screen. So who ya gunna call on a Saturday afternoon?
Yeah, this may look like a shameless advert, but I like to give credit where it's due. Local Yorkeys computer whizz Geoff Mastus at the PC Guys (there's only one, but that's another story), replaced the offending fried items, even gave it a needed internal clean, and it was back up running in 35 minutes.
Who else would give this kind of service on a weekend?
