Another important new local blog joins the stable of independent commentary.
This one is all about Auzex Resources plans to mine for minerals in the idyllic rainforest suburb of Speewah, close to Kuranda.
They have been given permission to explore in and around World Heritage rain-forest, and they are probably looking for tin, bismuth, silver, molybdenum or gold. We hope there will be some forest left when they have finished.
