Well that started my Saturday off with a giggle! Thank you Mike. Oh and Political Correctness should go the way 2009 went...but I suppose that would leave us with a myriad of underemployed bureaucrats looking to cause more mischief.
There's nothing politically incorrect about this - it's just a clever, amusing satire of 2009 from a US perspective. Political incorrectness and satire are quite different things. More often than not so-called political incorrectness is just plain bad manners to another gender or ethnicity.
Well said Desperate Dan. The bogans amongst us don't know the difference. Once some woman told me, "I don't believe in any of this political correctness shit...". "Nice to hear, ya dago wop moll," I replied, "now get off your split fork and get in the kitchen and cook me a steak, and none of your wog stuff either....". "You can't talk to me like that!" she screeched back. "You just gave me permission to," I said.
Note to Desperate Dan: Apologies for not having consulted you first, prior to my posting. I should have realized that, as a member of the majority (well they do say that there are more females than males in Australia) that my attempts at humour would be denigrated as ignorance. I can assure you that I do recognize political satyr when I see it... but thank you for trying to clarify things for me.
It must be a strange beast, this 'political satyr' - being a woodland deity in Greek mythology, represented as a hair-clad man's body, with legs and hoofs of a goat who has a lecherous nature. So what happened to satire?
LOL Bunu...I thought I was going to get away with that one! Can't blame a girl for trying.
Oh and Beryl, I really hope that I don't have to tell any of you guys when I'm joking. I reckon the majority of us, who post here, have rather warped senses of humour anyway.

Ha ha NC. I like the cut of your forked tongue gib.
Shame on you nc! Poking fun at an intellectually challenged ethnic minority member whose English is probably her second language. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
