I usually receive pretty POOR attention and service from the Queensland bureaucracies. Transport, Health, Justice... all seem dedicated to making the citizen (a) pay money (b) jump through hoops (c) pay money again while all the time being treated with contempt.
What I notice is they're very well paid to treat me with contempt. The worst among them suck up to the government of the day to avoid responsibility and receive patronage. I wouldn't mind them being sacked at all.
At the same time, your actual "service providers" (nurses, ambos, firies, and such like need to be protected.
I suspect there'll be five twopenny administrators hiding behind every service provider in the coming industrial displays. Keep your eyes open.
Unfortunately, they may have been a great choice of words for an election
campaign, but whosoever does become the "elected" (selected) leader, answers the very same statement that ALL "new leaders" are given by the "powers that be", with the same question/answer they always choose.
The statement to ALL "new leaders" is of course: "Jump"
The "new leader" always answers with the same two words: "How High"
The "new leader" then gets to stay in office for as long as the "powers that be" are content with their choice for the slaves.
That's the way it is, has always been, and will always be.
What would happen if nobody turned up on election day?
Can never happen in Australia due to that infamous statement from Paul Keating whilst P.M.
"Australians are basically stupid".
Personally, I believe the Tooth Fairy should be our fearless leader because she only wants your tooth, NOT your blood & money!
I was going to post a constructive comment but when you post on a thread after only Bryan Law and :Kevin-John:Morgan it does become embarrasing! Who wants to be obsessed about where they put their colon?
