For those Cairns People who remember the way "The Pier" used to be, I was in the "Canoe Club" one Friday night in 1991 and who should dance into the room but, K Rudd, Wayne Goss and 2 or three other Head's of Department's they were blind. Dancing on tables groping women, swearing, they settled down after half an hour or so. At the time my mate, (who was the DJ at the club and now teaching at a high school here in Cairns) was shocked, I was not then, and I am not now. In my experience ego maniacs swear a hell of a lot.
