42-year-old Cairns man charged with attempted murder

Cairns Police have charged a 42-year-old Bungalow man after an overnight incident.

The man will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court this afternoon and face charges of attempted murder and supply a dangerous drug.

Police and emergency services were called to a Buchan Street house around 9pm and discovered a 36-year-old Westcourt man with serious injuries allegedly inflicted during an altercation, who remains in Cairns Base Hospital in a serious condition.
