The Cairns Buskers Festival is now underway.
Last evening's opening One Night Stand was a hoot. I'll blog about it separately, but in the meantime thought I'd share a unique little video that was dropped onto my doorstep anonymously last night.
This previously unreleased footage from last year's L-After party, features Cairns Post's Gavin King, who takes a starring role in this wonderful piece of busker's live theatre, maybe something he'd rather forget. He was a good sport.
This year's L-After party will be on Sunday night as the closing bash at Rydges Tradewinds on the Esplanade. You can catch the free shows at City Place, down on the Lagoon, at Stockland Earlville, Rusty's Market, and the Cape York hotel. Make sure you get out and see some of the visiting buskers - all they ask for is a coin donation.
The baby DID look just like its dad! Poor thing.
