"This will change the way you enjoy the arts," Linda Cardew, manager of the cultural precinct project says.
These sessions aim to keep everyone updated about the progression.
The proposed Stage 1, which includes a performing arts centre, plaza and car-parking, has attracted significant financial support from government, including the land transfer to Cairns Regional Council for the proposed site.
"We understand the need to keep community informed about development of the project, plans and ideas, and seek feedback from residents," Linda Cardew, manager of the cultural precinct project says. "Between now and December, Council is conducting weekly one-hour community information sessions about various aspects of this very exciting project."
Council are urging supporter of the arts to attend the information forums.
This week's session will focus on the performing arts centre - 'what's in it for you'
