Three days on a cycle with Labor MPs, now that's a challenge

Skilled road cyclist and Mulgrave MP Curtis Pitt, will accompany his Barron River Labor colleague Steve Wettenhall, to support the annual Yellow Pages Cardiac Challenge ride, a fund-raiser for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation.

"We're urging other riders to join with us on the 3-day journey," Wettenhall says, that will depart Cairns on September 25th, 335 km from Cairns to Cooktown.

This year the Foundation will fund setting-up the Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic at Cairns Base Hospital.

  1. A very worthy cause. Long may they ride! However, rather than a Chest Pain Clinic appeal may I respectfully suggest they consider riding for a Labor Pain Clinic or even a Pain-in-the-A*** Clinic for which they already have some experience
