Going down on Cairns

You got to love this place. I just flew back in from a few days inter-State for business.

The view outside the Virgin window of our sediment-laden coastline, Double Island glittering in the Coral sea, and the Northern Beach communities, as you descend back to our reality, is always something special.

We shouldn't take it for granted. You only have to look around the plane as watch the visitors and tourists to see their gleaming faces perched at the windows, to realise how lucky we are to live here.
