Joaquin Phoenix 'shambolic' on Letterman

Did you see the odd appearance from Joaquin Phoenix on David Letterman's show a few nights ago?

We're told that Joaquin is ditching his acting for a music career. There's rumour that it's all a hoax and he's really making some sort of doco. Who knows? Letterman certainly wasn't impressed and made him look like a dick. It's uncomfortable television.
