I intend to be there to stand up and be counted. If the building is not going to be allowed to remain "in situ", then how about moving it to Palm Cove, by the jetty. While it may be a bit of a hike for those of you at the southern end of town, us in the northern end would look after it, use it as a Community Hall (which we lack), respect its history and it would still be by the sea, where you would expect a Yacht Club to be.
