Kiwis exit

The latest New Zealand migration statistics highlight the exodus from Aotearoa.

Last year 77,081 Kiwis left permamently. This is a 10 year high.

13,636 moved from Australia to New Zealand, but 41,634 Kiwis moved to Australia! That is 800 people a week or 114 people every day of the year. The net migration from Kiwiland to Australia is now 35% from 2006 to 2007, that's 20,709 to 27,998, which is a 20 year high.

We love you long time.
