I hate Powerpoint

  1. Training in the public service is now done almost exclusively with Powerpoint.
    There is no verbal explanations nor role playing so that staff can understand HOW TO EXPLAIN Government legislation to the public, what the rationale is for the legislation, or answer any questions the public might have.
    Staff are beseiged with graphs, data and long dot point displays, often taken straight from training books. So...if you go into a Government office and find the staff don't know what they are talking about, blame POWERPOINT mad trainers!!!
