He was a right ....

When you complete personal information on many websites now, like adding comments to CairnsBlog, you have to manually fill in a series of letters / numbers to identify you're a real person.

This is program to deter spammers and automated registration robots. They display a captcha which is a graphic of some letters. Usually only a human can read and type in.

Stuart Parker has blogged the below screenshot from the Domainz site, which he got when trying to renew his domain name.
