Yeah Anonymous. I can't wait to have my wages reduced by John Howard and his Work Slave Choices. Let's hope they use the condom when they do it to us! You go Charlie - you might be next!
aussie worker....dont you realise that you will be worse off with 17% interest rates with Mr Rudd, or are you too young to remember? I can tell you , it wasnt much fun.
Well anon I am probably a lot older than you and maybe even a professor feller called John Quiggin. He remembers Howard's high interest rates as well. This is a link to his blog responding to Howard's last election interest rate scare campaign. Should I find some more facts? http://johnquiggin.com/index.php/archives/2004/09/30/interest-rates-the-lost-years/

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't much fun when howard was treasurer and we had 22% interest rate either
ReplyDeleteYeah anon,
ReplyDeleteAnd you'll notice that those 22% under Howard were not Housing interest rates.
The 17% under Hawke and Keating were.
Wake up and smell the facts.
And what were they when Howard took over as treasurer ??
