The 17% under Hawke and Keating were.

ReplyDeleteWell anon I am probably a lot older than you and maybe even a professor feller called John Quiggin. He remembers Howard's high interest rates as well. This is a link to his blog responding to Howard's last election interest rate scare campaign. Should I find some more facts?
