    What exactly is the benefit of divisions? I only have the opportunity to vote for one councillor and a mayor. Where is the democracy in that? What if I want to have a say in the election of all councillors? I wouldn't even know who our local representative is but I know they have done bugger all for my area compared to the millions of ratepayers dollars spent in other parts of the city. I'm sure the people of the former Douglas shire must be really excited about only being able to elect one representative now instead of a whole council.
