Well, as I've always said - the only good chiuhuahua, is a Roast Chiuhuahua. [Joke, Joyce . . . . I love all doggies - much easier to deal with than humans].
Actually, as a dog afficiando, I always wondered 'why Chiuhauhaus?'. They are dogs from Mexico. Apparently, when the Mexicans were still fighting the Americans (ie. North Americans) for their land, in the days of Zapata etc., chiuhuahua dogs were very useful to troops moving about the desert, as:
a) they could tuck them into their horse saddle packs/coats, & transport them easily, &
b) it's cold out there in the Mexican desert, in season &
c) if the enemy approached, the dogs would go off like sprung clocks... thus alerting the Mexicans to the presence of the enemy.
Thus - chiuhauhauas - I think my spelling is getting worse the longer I do this entry. Hasta la vista.
