Public security reminder:
Police are again reminding home and vehicle owners to be vigilant with security after a spate of break and enter offences across the Cairns District over the long weekend. In most cases opportunistic thieves have gained entry to unlocked homes and vehicles before stealing property. Several vehicles were stolen over the weekend, in one case a set of spare keys was left in the vehicle enabling an easy get-away for thieves.

Police are currently looking for the following vehicle:
1. A green 1996 Hyundai Excel sedan bearing Queensland registration 512DKP stolen from Upward Street on June 14.

2. A white 1997 Holden Kingswood sedan bearing Queensland registration 469DCA stolen from Westcourt on June 14.

3. A red 1987 Holden Barina bearing Queensland registration 344KRE stolen from Cairns
