Local Cairns construction giant, CEC, provided updated guidance this afternoon.
Cairns independent financial commentator KitchenSlut reports that CEC states they still had not resolved the critical accounting issue delaying the half yearly accounts.
They were taking "all steps necessary as a matter of urgency to finalise the issue and anticipated lodging the financial statements no later than Thursday 5 March."
CEC remains suspended from trading on ASX.
