Due to Tropical Cyclone Charlotte, and the associated Low, Cairns Regional Council announces the following road closures and areas to watch:

Bramston Beach Road closed at Russell River bridge

East Russell closed at Clyde bridge

Copperlode Dam level
Water is currently 0.5 metres from the top, rising 1.2 metres since Friday.
Dam levels as at:
Friday- 1.7m
Sunday-1.2m
Monday 12 January at 7am- 0.56m. The dam is expected to overflow sometime today.
