Biggest erection in Nth QLD

The Cairns Global Tower will be "the first commercial building in Cairns to be located in the cultural district of the Cairns city centre".
Nice, just what the 'cultural' part of town needs. Not.
They plan to build this opposite the Convention Centre, and is proposed to be the "tallest tower in the Northern Queensland region".

    Something similar to the Petronis twin towers in Kuala Lumpur would look classy, might provide a bit of shade as far as Green Id too. Alfonso
