Farewell Marcel Marceau

At 84 years, Marcel Marceau, said goodbye to the world yesterday.

Marcel was one of the best performers of mime in the world - the "art of silence". In 1947 he created Bip, a sad, white-faced clown in a striped jumper, that became his iconic image.

I remember as a child being enthralled by his magic and ability to create powerful emotions.

"Mime, like music, knows neither borders nor nationalities," he said. "If laughter and tears are the characteristics of humanity, all cultures are steeped in our discipline."

Votre amour pour le théâtre et l'art de l'exécution était truely spécial. Souhaits de Blog de cairns vous paix et amour pour toute joie que vous avez achetée aux millions au cours des années.

Merci Monsieur Marcel. Bon Voyage.
